The facilitators used group work, gallery walk, and plenary discussions during the training and each day, participants gave their comments and suggestions on how the training might be improved.
Participants rehearsed their instructional skills in front of the facilitators and trainees to improve their training skills during the training. In addition to developing their skills, the training gave them a clear idea on how to integrate cross-cutting issues of gender, nutrition and climate smart agriculture issues into their training. Participants vowed to roll out the training to front-line agricultural staff to scale up Hedasse wheat varieties in selected woredas during the current cropping year.
