AGP2 CDSF Oromia Regional Office conducted a three-days training on e-learning and iSpring application to MFDP participants for three days on 9-11/12/2020, at Adama town. Fifteen (15) MFDP graduates (4 females) attended the training.

The purpose of this training was to equip the MFDP graduates with the knowledge and skill of preparing e-learning materials, as an advancement of the training material development they learned in the MFDP modules.

CDSF ICT Specialist and regional capacity development specialist facilitated the training. The topics covered in this training were: Introduction to e-learning, e-learning basics, iSpring tutorial and digital communication tools (zoom, telegram, google suit). The training was so participatory that all participants were practicing all the steps of the e-learning application on their computers and finally they presented their exercises and learned from peer review.

The participants were much interested in the e-learning technology, which is more important especially at this COVID19 pandemic period.  They were initiated to scale up the e-learning in their organizations by discussing with their leaders to purchase the iSpring software. However, they requested CDSF to organize more training programs to experts and leaders in all IAs. They also indicated the possible limitations including internet access problem from regional to woreda level and high price of iSpring software.
