MFDP Training Participants

A total of 31 participants (nine female) representing eleven AGP2 implementing agencies attended the training that focused on designing and development of capacity development activities. The implementing agencies included Bureau of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Bureau of Livestock and Fishery, Cooperative Agency, South Agricultural Research Institutes, Irrigation Agency, Bureau of Trade and Industry, and Bureau of Women and ‘s Affairs.

 

This MFDP training, which is a continuation of Module One, aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the Master Facilitators on designing and developing capacity development activities for AGP2 programming.

Rick Steel, CDSF International Capacity Development Advisor, Amrit Alemu and Sebsibe Teklu SNNPR regional capacity development specialists co-facilitated the training.

At the end of the four-day training, participants received certificates for completing the requirements of Module One that includes completion of performance tasks.

In her Closing remarks, W/ro Amriya Siraj Bureau of Agriculture and Natural Resources (BoA&NR) office head urged the training participants to apply the new skills and knowledge they gained from CDSF to fill the gap identified during  AGP1 implementation.
