A total of thirty-four participants (five female) mainly from AGP2 Steering Committee members and Productive Safety Net Program Technical Assistance for Strengthening Capacity (PSNP4 – TASC), Task Force members of SNNPS, as well as regional CDSF and TASC technical staff members, participated in the training.

Sacha Innes, CDSF Project Director and Arthur Delabie, International Leadership Consultant-Capacity Development and Human Resource Advisor to PSNP4 facilitated the training.
The major topics covered in the two-day training included: Overview of AGP2 CDSF and PSNP4 TASC, Leadership Styles, Staff Performance Readiness, Gender and Leadership, Three Leadership Basics, and Organizational Readiness for Transformation. At the end of the senior leaders training sessions, each participant developed an action plan to be implemented by March, 2017.
In his closing remarks, Ato Tilahun Kebede, Agriculture and Natural Resource Bureau Head hailed the training as extremely useful and thanked the trainers for their excellent facilitation. The bureau head asked CDSF to organize the same leaders’ training for those regional officials who did not have the opportunity to join the training.
