CDSF, in collaboration with federal agricultural growth program coordination unit (AGP CU), conducted a national workshop from October 19-21 in Adama city. The main objectives of the workshop were to discuss operational definitions, identify and prioritize Gender, Nutrition and Climate Smart agricultural technologies that can be demonstrated, promoted and disseminated through AGP 2.

A total of 37 (16 female) participants drawn from Federal AGP CU, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources (MoANR), Ministry of Livestock and Fishery (MoLF), Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) donors and nine other national and international partner organizations and stakeholders participated in the workshop. During the workshop, participants evaluated the operational definitions of gender, nutrition and Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) to create a common understanding.  Participants also came up with a list of gender nutrition and CSA sensitive agricultural technologies, prioritized the technologies and suggested strategies to tackle possible challenges to ensure the promotion and scaling up of the technologies in AGP 2.
